Triton: Guardian of the Lakes.

As I sit and chat with my dear friends, we happen to have come upon a dilemma.
In the classic hit, "Under the Sea" from the hit Disney film, "The Little Mermaid", the first line states that the seaweed is always greener in somebody else's lake.  While I don't find this line to be controversial, my good friend and internet comrade, Margo finds this line to be near offensive.
The mermaids live in the ocean, which is a body of water. Lakes are also bodies of water. Wouldn't one assume that because the mermaids clearly know about the ocean, they would be familiar with lakes?  Margo does not feel the same. A direct quote from Magatha herself, "Lakes are wet. They're a solid 5 on a scale of 10."
While those quotes don't directly represent the dilemma presented, one can only assume that Margo is biased.
This is a very frazzled post. Do your best to understand.
What are your thoughts. Do you think mermaids know about lakes?

Nick rates this lake an indisputable 11,000.

x,
The Lamb
